Passport holders of eligible countries may enjoy visa-free transit in the mainland of China for up to 240 hours (10 days), if they meet the following requirements.

1. Eligible Countries
Hold a valid passport issued by 55 countries mentioned here.
2. Valid Visa (if required)
Have a valid visa for a third country or region (if required).
3. Arrival/Departure Card
Have a fully completed Arrival/Departure Card.
4. Onward Ticket
Have an onward ticket with a confirmed seat.
Note:
The duration of stay of each visitor is calculated from 00:00 on the following day. For example, if the arrival day is 15 November, 2026. The 240 hours will be counted from 16 November, 2026.
